Apple’s September 2025 keynote was one of the most anticipated events of the year, and it did not disappoint. The company unveiled an entirely new addition to its smartphone family, the iPhone Air, alongside the iPhone 17 lineup, the AirPods Pro 3, and three updated Apple Watch models. To top it off, Apple confirmed the release of iOS 26, which arrives on September 15 for millions of iPhones worldwide.
iPhone Air: Apple’s Thinnest Smartphone Yet
The highlight of the event was the debut of the iPhone Air, Apple’s thinnest smartphone to date at just 5.56 mm. Despite its ultra-lightweight design, it features a 6.5-inch display and runs on the A19 Pro chip, the same powerful processor found in the iPhone 17 Pro. Built with a titanium frame and Ceramic Shield glass, the device balances slimness with durability.
However, the iPhone Air makes some trade-offs. It has a single dual-function rear camera, limited to 2x optical zoom, and slightly shorter battery life compared to the iPhone 17. Available in Sky Blue, Light Gold, Cloud White, and Space Black, it starts at $999.

The iPhone 17 Lineup
Replacing the former “Plus” model, the new iPhone 17, 17 Pro, and 17 Pro Max deliver major upgrades in performance and photography. Battery life now reaches up to 39 hours on the Pro Max, while camera systems feature multiple 48-megapixel lenses, improved zoom, and brighter displays. The iPhone 17 starts at $799, while the Pro models begin at $1,099.
AirPods Pro 3 and Apple Watch Updates
Apple also revealed the AirPods Pro 3, now doubling as health wearables with heart rate and temperature monitoring. They include improved noise cancellation, live translation, and longer battery life. Priced at $249, they are positioned as Apple’s most advanced earbuds yet.

The Apple Watch Series 11, Ultra 3, and SE 3 also debuted, adding features like hypertension detection, sleep apnea monitoring, satellite connectivity, and always-on displays. Prices range from $249 to $799.
iOS 26 Launch
Finally, Apple announced that iOS 26 will be available on iPhone 11 and newer models. The update brings a refreshed Liquid Glass design, AI-powered features, and enhanced app functionality.
Apple’s 2025 lineup delivers something for every user. Whether it’s the sleek new iPhone Air, the powerhouse iPhone 17 Pro Max, or the versatile AirPods Pro 3, Apple has combined design, innovation, and performance to set the tone for another year in consumer technology.
