CHICAGO — Caleb Williams tied a career high with four touchdown passes, leading the Chicago Bears to a 31-14 victory over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. The win also marked Ben Johnson’s first victory as the Bears’ head coach after two early-season losses.
Williams delivered an impressive performance, completing 19 of 28 passes for 298 yards and a quarterback rating of 142.6. Rookie Luther Burden caught his first career touchdown on a 65-yard flea-flicker in the first quarter, finishing with 101 yards on three receptions. “It’s awesome,” Williams said after the game. “The trust, belief, and hard work together for our team and our organization means a lot. Moments like this are important for everyone involved.”
