Cardi B is in full album rollout mode, and her personal life is as busy as her music. While promoting her new album Am I the Drama?, the rapper shared her thoughts on love, family, and her marriage plans.
During an interview on TODAY With Jenna & Friends, she spoke about her relationship with New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs. Cardi described their connection as “sparklin’, honey. Fourth of July.” She added that she plans to attend his games after finishing her album promotions.
Currently in the middle of a public divorce from Offset, Cardi also opened up about motherhood and dating. “Everybody knows how devoted I am as a mother,” she said. “This is what I come with. I come with a luggage, a baggage, a book bag, a purse! I come with everything.”
When asked if she would consider marriage again, she didn’t hesitate. “Yeah, I would get married again. I believe in love. I’m like a hopeless romantic.” Her comments made it clear that Cardi B marriage plans are still part of her future vision.
The conversation also turned lighthearted when she joined Matthew McConaughey to discuss his poetry book Poems & Prayers. Cardi recalled first meeting him at Madonna’s Oscar party. They laughed about her lyric referencing him and how she had to mispronounce his last name to fit the rhyme.
