Filming on Spider-Man: Brand New Day paused after actor Tom Holland sustained a mild concussion on set. The incident occurred in Glasgow during a stunt sequence. Production temporarily halted as a precaution.
According to reports from Deadline, Holland received treatment after the accident. He will take a short break but is expected to return within a few days.
How the injury happened
British outlet The Sun reported that the injury occurred during a stunt gone wrong. No other cast or crew members were hurt. Despite the setback, Holland attended a charity event with fiancée Zendaya over the weekend. This suggests the injury is not severe.

Production adjustments in Glasgow
Producers confirmed that the schedule will shift slightly to accommodate Holland’s recovery. A meeting is planned to revise filming plans for the week. Before production began, Holland had shared his excitement about filming in real locations again after shooting most of Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021) on soundstages due to COVID-19 restrictions.
“Now, we’re really gonna lean into that old-school filmmaking and shoot in real locations, which is why we’re starting in Glasgow,” Holland said in an earlier interview. “I think fans are going to be over the moon with what we’re putting together.”
